The voltage on these will vary from 16V to 35V. Tantalum are used where space is a premium. These are getting hard to source as many manufacturers are discontinuing production. Luckily I have a good supply on hand and I also have a dependable supplier in Taiwan.

LEDs — 3mm BiColor Blue/Red or Green/Red LEDs Common Anode/Positive

These are the same LEDs I use on my BF-2 and TR-2 Mods. Based on availability I will ship either a Blue/Red or Green/Red Bi-Color LED. What I ship will depend on what I can find available at any particular time. For instance on my TR-2 mods when the pedal is in bypass the LED will blink Red showing the Rate the Tremolo is set to by the Rate Knob. Then once the effect is engaged the LED will show Blue or Green. This allows the LED to perform two tasks.

I’ve gotten a lot of requests for these from those that purchase my DIY Pedal Mod kits so I am now offering them as an option to those that want them. These 3mm Red Diffused LEDs are what I am starting to use as clipping LEDs in my kits. They have the same FV as the 3mm Clear Red 3mm LEDs I have used in the past.

Dying Battery Voltage Mod

I created this mod for the Big Muff but it will work with every pedal I now offer a mod for. It is a well know fact that in some circuits as the battery weakens it can have a very positive affect on the pedals tone. On the Big Muff the affect is just plain cool. The gain takes on this very fat blooming gain. Very nice!

And it a very simple mod to do. You will need to drill a hole for the pot but then it’s just a matter of connecting a couple of wires and that’s it. When time permits I will add a video of the mod.
